Hi everyone, I know I haven't posted in all. I was gonna post some icons and stuff but I haven't really worked on anything internet related in the past couple of weeks at all. My biology class did a really cool school trip, we went to a local pond and picked up garbage and cleaned it up. We went back this week and we saw a bunch of Geese settling in, it was really lovely. My art class also had a bunch of trips to art galleries and we to a university art show, there was so really beautiful works there. My mom gave me $20 for the art show and I bought a pretty print someone made. I think people should really support their local artist then purchase some trendy artist. Its really cool being able to talk to an artist and have them explain their artwork to you. Next week I am doing a neighborhood walk with my social studies class, which is kind of cool. We are going to document the various people, businesses and etc in our school neighborhood. Sorry for my affies for not visiting as often ! Promise to a round trip soon.

I also have a new affiliate, Fai from No Bananas Please, I actually lost my bunny template so I have to edit an old one. Promise to you add you soon. D:

March Madness

Hi everyone! I know its been quite a while since I last posted anything. March has been very busy, I had to finish a lot of assignments for school, I also been busy with other offline stuff.

But today I finally found the time to sit down and write a blog post. I would like to start with the new layout I made, it features the lovely Phoebe Tonkin! She plays Hayley in The Originals, a show on CW about a family of vampires. She is a werewolf but she is pregnant with the baby of Klaus, a particularly nasty vampire with a antihero personality. I think she has such a stunning face so I wanted to make my layout feature her! I been watching A LOT of a TV, including The Originals which I love as well as the medieval show Reign.

Reign is short of a love story for Queen Mary of Scotland, it kind of evolves her and two ridiculously good looking prince brothers. You get the jest. I also been watching Star Crossed, its other love story about a human high school girl and a handsome human-like alien boy :). All of them are from the CW, they have really good things.

My affie Sophie tagged me for Liebster award again so I will do it again.

Hello everyone!

I know its been FOREVER since I updated and I am so sorry, I haven't really felt like posting or reading lately. School has started and just seems to be other stuff to do so I just decided to ignore the blog until I felt like I wanted to post.

I want this to be a hobby and not something I have to do! Anyways, I finally got bite by my creative bug and made some stuff. I actually have a new layout, I loved my Katniss layout so I was sad to see it go but its time for a change. This one features some tasty blueberries!

Life has been pretty normal, I been going to school, hanging out with my friends and doing homework! I haven' had a chance to watch any movies lately because everyone is really busy. So I am hoping once its spring break we can go watch some good movies~ I have however started watching this Korean drama my friend introduced to me, its called Emergency Couple! Its SO FUNNY!

Other thing I have done is made some graphics! Woot! I made 8 icons, 1 signature and 1 layout this past 2 days, they are all blueberry/berry themed. I found a collection of cute berry pics so I wanted to make graphics!

School Life

Hey everyone :) I changed the layout to Katniss a couple days ago as you can see. I love Effie but I wanted to change the layout before I got really busy and stuff, school like started for me

. The past couple of days has just been crazy! So my timetable was kind of messed up and I had to talk to my counselor to fix it and it was so much changing around, I still have no clue where my classes are. I am taking a after school extra art class because I want to do the advanced art program at my high school next year. I had the option of taking drama but instead I opted for a 3d art class and if I take the an additional art class after school I qualify to skip grade 10 art class and go into grade 11 art right away. Anyways, because of all the deleting and moving around, I ended up with 2 classes occurring at the same time and I obviously cannot be in two places!

lol

Our counselor are already talking to us about options in high school and the wide variety of classes we can take aside from my our core classes like english, math (ew), science, social studies and etc. I have lots of options so I am going to mainly do art related stuff, drama/music/sports are not my thing.

Sooo, this Friday I am going to be watching the movie 47 Ronin. There is a lot of buzz around this movie, my sister has already bought the tickets so I am super excited to go watch this movie. I saw the trailer and it looked really amazing, especially the witch. =)

Other than that, I been listening to the addicted to you by Shakira, its really good even though its in spanish and I don't understand a word of it. lol I made this banner of Shakira while doodling today:

Hello everyone! I just want to say Happy New Years!! I uploaded a brand new layout featuring Effie Trinket from the Hunger Games. I love Effie, she is one of the most hilarious and lovable characters in the series. I think I will do a Katniss layout next, for now,to start of the new year, we will go with the fabulous and dim witted Effie!
I can't believe 2013 is already over. It has been an interesting year though my life isn't exactly adventurous, hanged out with my friends, watched a lot of movies, went to school, eh, normality! So I decided to do a new year's resolution :) Not sure if I will be able to achieve them but lets start by listing them out first. So.....

1. Eat more fresh food and vegetables (lol, like everyone probably has this on their list)
2. Spend more time doing my hobbies like drawing.
3. Make new friends with people that different from me, if you are an Asian girl, you know what I mean! We tend to be friends with other Asian girls, I need to branch out and meet people from different ethnic groups!!
4. Be drama free.
5. Aim for As and maintain at least a B for my classes.
6. Spend time out doors as much as possible in the summer.
7. Try to earn $1000 from a part time job during the summer.

I think that is a pretty good list so I'll just leave it at that. No need to overwhelm myself and make the list impossible to achieve.

Hello everyone. Yesterday was Boxing Day, not sure if other countries have this holiday but in Canada its basically black friday. Everything goes on sale, you get crazy good deals and lots of stores sell off everything from this year and start out with new stock for the new year. Its only suppose to be 1 day but now its more like boxing week but only the best deals are on the 26th, after that its the left over deals. lol So I was really busy shopping with my mom, gran and sister yesterday. My mom bought some stuff for the house, we got a $35 cooking pot set for only $15. My grandma bought lots of stuff, mugs, coats, teacup sets, etc where just some of the things she took home. There is this store here called Think Kitchen which sells all the stuff you need in a kitchen, just more fancy and we spend like 2hrs in the store, my mom got some fancy seaside art plates and my grandma got mugs. Later, me and my sister went to H&M, I picked up a pair of jeans with my xmas money.

Today I stayed home because yesterday was so tiring, I made a free template, it features the lovely Ariana Grande! I got an account at x10hosting so people can preview my templates live. :) This template took me forever to make, could get the head/sidebar title pictures to work properly! Pretty happy with it, its purple!

My Christmas this year :)

Hello everyone :) So Christmas has come and gone, it has been a wonderful holiday at our house in my opinion. Well, aside from all the smelt we had to eat. If you don't know what a smelt is, it is a very small skinny fish, it tastes wonderful deep fried, kind of like chicken fingers but too much of it can be kind of greasy. My mom found them on sale for the holidays, she went to town and bought a LOT of it. We had a huge plate of deep fried smelt, the thing with anything deep fried is that once it gets cold or microwaved, it becomes gross so we ended up just eating it all yesterday. I felt like bursting. We also had a cranberry turkey, scallop potato, dumplings, salad, hickory ham, smoothies and a cherry filled chocolate cake. It was a ridiculous amount of food, I didn't even eat my slice of cake and had it for breakfast. This morning was super exciting because I got presents! :)

So things I got were a dusty blue sweater + necklace from my grandma, a $100 bucks from my grandpa, a pair of shoes and gift card from my uncle, Nintendo 2DS/Pokemon Y from my parents and lingerie from my sister (which for sake of modesty, I'm not adding to the photo).

I am loving the sweater and the necklace, can't wait until spring to try my shoes out! The 2DS is amazing of course, my sister got Pokemon X and I got Y, it is funny because we were actually there when our parents bought it for us so we knew exactly what we were getting. Me and my sister made everyone chocolate fudge and gave everyone a Starbucks Card, we each loaded 10 dollars on there so $20 for everyone. We are too broke to offer anything else. lol

Aside from that, I had uploaded the new year's template. I actually don't like it that much, I wanted to try a dark green layout but I think I liked my cute ginger bread layout more. After new years I am thinking of doing either a Katniss or maybe Hobbit layout. Oh there is also a new affilate, welcome Lina!

Sunday Sundaes :)

Hello everyone. Can't believe its already Sunday afternoon, where my weekend go? Yesterday my mom and I went to this stress management class and it was 3 hrs long, I was stressed from learning about managing stress. say what? But eventually we were done and than we came home and she made dinner while I watched some TV. I watched an episode of Bones which I think is actually a really good show. I never really religiously watched crime drama, mainly whenever it happens to be on but I think I might check Bones out online and see some more episodes.

Today I woke up super late, I ate a yummy ribs and macaroni salad brunch. Now I am enjoy a sundae while I do some bloggin! lol Its like -50C outside with 5 feet of snow and here I am eating sundae. I added a new amazing peeps, welcome veron and paige! Also made these 6 icons yesterday that I will upload, they are winter themed ^^

So today I am gonna ~~blog~~ rant about something called neighborhood courtesy. One of the things about owning a house in Canada is that you can have to shovel snow, its a fact of life, winter sucks here. My parents always take 3-4 min in the morning or afternoon to shovel the snow that builds up on the sidewalk in front of our house and put some road salt so no ice forms. Which means you can walk without falling or having snow up to your knees. 90% of my neighbors do this also so generally, you can go out to the convenient store on perfectly walkable sidewalks. THAN, you have that 10% that never shovel so the amount of snow that builds up is like 10 feet and you have no choice to either get snow in your boots or go on to the road where you risk being hit and honked at my angry drivers. I don't like judging people but this is a moment where I do judge people!! Like come on~! Everyone else in your neighborhood cares enough to keep the sidewalk safe but you can't put in a few minutes to do it?? Like when people come in to our neighborhood, the few houses with 20 feet of snow is automatically enrolled in rude neighbor registry. Have some courtesy for your fellow neighbors, you don't live by yourself on this street!

Asians can have natural curly hair, kay?

Okay so I kind of changed the layout just a little bit, ~~I changed the main image, I think I like the image unedited, it looks nicer! :)~~ I was reading some ways to do color block and decided to try it out! I hope you guys think it looks nice, I think it looks very polished. I also tired out a PSD I found at Punk Rose which made the gold more rosy, so I guess rose gold? :) The color palette I made and used is this one:

I also added some new ppl to the awesome peeps area too, go visit them. ^^ I also added a profile pic of me, it originally all of my face but my mom told me to change it. She is scared some pedophile is gonna like hunt me down or something so now its just half my face. lol

Okay so I am gonna blog about something that bugs me ALOT which is my hair! I have NATURAL wavy hair, I was born with it. I am 100% Asian, my lineage is mainly han/monogolian chinese and I am also part malay (which are all asian races, malay is asian). People always ask me if I spend like 3 hrs doing my hair or if I am part white. Noooooo people, asians CAN have curly hair, its not even that uncommon, like lucy liu has natural curls and she is 100% asian. Lots of koreans/japanese can also have curly hair, straight hair is the most common but it doesn't mean there are no variations.

I hate it when people stereotype asians, not all of us have straight black hair and is good at math okay? lol I suck at math and my hair is wavy dark brown, I don't speak chinese or malay, only english and french. lol I can use chopsticks though. :P

So yeah, thats just my rant. Don't stereotype, everyone is different.
